Fine and generous Champagnes from biodynamic farming

Eric Rodez and his wife Martine have been farming 6 hectares of vines according to the principles of Organic Farming and Biodynamics for several years, and have since handed over to their son Mickael, who embodies the ninth generation.

La Maison Eric Rodez: a life of passion for 9 generations

The Rodez family comes from a long line of winegrowers where each generation has contributed to chiseling the sumptuous terroir where they are based, so that it expresses all its richness. Today, the vineyard at Ambonnay on Montagne de Reims comprises 6 hectares, 4 of Pinot Noir and 2 of Chardonnay. Respect for and full development of the vines have always been a daily concern for them, which is why Eric Rodez committed its Domaine to converting to organic and biodynamic farming in 2009. In 2012, the winery was awarded "High Environmental Value" certification. Maison Rodez's philosophy is thus guided by this winemaker's common sense, which enables a fine maintenance of biodiversity, ultimately offering Champagnes delivering pleasure and enjoyment.

La Maison Eric Rodez: exceptional know-how

As in the past, Maison Eric Rodez continues to follow a credo, that of vinifying a major part of its Champagnes in oak barrels. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay thus derive their generosity and finesse respectively. Some wines do not undergo malolactic fermentation, allowing them to age longer in the cellar after blending, while enhancing their qualities. These methods help shape complex, highly refined Champagnes.

The House's emblematic cuvées Eric Rodez

The cuvée Blanc de blancs Grand Cru is a blend of over 15 wines from 5 to 6 different vintages. Generous and harmoniously fruity, it offers a subtle freshness that makes it the perfect aperitif companion.

Let's mention the sumptuous Blanc de noirs Grand Cru, powerful and vinous where Pinot Noir expresses all its fullness. Composed of 7 different years, it's a beautifully balanced Champagne that will complement all types of meal.

The Cuvée des Crayères is virtually unmissable, revealing itself to be structured and highly elegant. Its constant freshness and floral touches make it suitable for pairing with delicate dishes.

The Cuvée des Grands Vintages is made with the heads of cuvées from the best vintages, the crème de la crème, which are vinified totally in wood. The result is a full-bodied, elegant Champagne of unparalleled richness.

Whatever the occasion, Maison Eric Rodez will have something to satisfy every requirement, thanks to fine cuvées where the imprint of passion can be found right in the glass.
